Slim… GlobalTop’s newest entry in its GPS module lineup is a feature packed power house, completed with integrated antenna in an unprecedented slim package. By utilizing the latest MTK MT3329 GPS chipset as well as the cutting edge Pulse SMD GPS antenna, we were able to shrink the previously bulky GPS + antenna module solution down to 2.1mm thin. To give you an accurate perspective, this is roughly the same thickness as a 20 cent euro coin (€0.20). In addition, its reception potential can stand toe to toe with our previous solutions, making it an extremely desirable solution for use in slim mobile solutions such as PND, mobile phone, MID, personal tracking devices and gadgets.

Traditionally GPS modules utilize relative large ceramic or helix antenna, but Pulse, the global leader in antenna solution for wireless devices, and its proprietary antenna technologies, was adopted by GlobalTop to create a distinctively smaller GPS module solution that offer inherent immunity of ceramic solutions to other antennas and the hand effect.
